Happy Birthday to me... Happy Birthday to me... Happy Birthday Dear me!!! Happy Birthday to ME!!! Yes it was my Birthday this fine sunday and I am the BIG 20! Wow I'm getting old ha. Okay maybe not so much, especially to those who'll be reading this since I'm the youngest. Anyway.. My birthday started off with my loving husband coming in with breakfast on a tray singing "happy birthday'' to me. I couldn't help but just be more madly in love with him. We ate breakfast together in bed and then I opened a beautiful jewelry box and the most gorgeous earrings on the planet from him! I don't know where he got them, but I've never seen such pretty ones! We headed to church and after we went to our Mom and Dad Brooks' house, we had dinner and opened more presents.. I'm so spoiled!! Then we headed over to Mom and Dad Sevy's house for Strawberry Cheesecake, my obsolute favorite!! Oh how I love my family, both immediate and my new inlaws!
On our crew ship we had a formal night where you dressed up into nicer clothes and went to dinner. I ordered Prime rib thinking it was just normal ribs... it wasn't what I expected at all! don't worry the waiter took it back and got me something normal to me :)
When we went to Catalina Island and went snorkling in the cove and saw tons of little fishies and all sorts of plant life. It sure gave us a break from sitting around all day and gave us a chance to get some exercise to lose some of those pounds we were putting on quite quickly. We went to La Bufadora which was a blow whole, and there were crazy people everywhere selling stuff and dancing and singing. It was very interesting and new... but I got a couple purses out of it, so that was sweet, and a hamock thing for our house (Justin's idea)! How I love Him!!
Before we knew it the cruise was over and we were sad, but at the same time ready to get home and start our REAL life as newlyweds!! Our nice little oriental house keeper made us a bunny out of our towels...Imppressive!! It was a great going away gift.
Yup thats our lovely boat... In my dreams, but it was sure an awesome crew ship to be on. for our honeymoon we went on a five day cruise and went to San Diego, Ensanada, and Catalina Island. I recommend that everyone should go on a cruise! They are the most fun and the food is undescribable!
Our
Our Beautiful wedding cake started out so amazing looking, done by my friend and neighbor. She did the whole thing with icing, even the drapes going form level to level! I was astounded when I first saw it, and won't ever forget it. Needless to say, we eventually ruined the cakes by stuffing it into eachothers mouths. We had a pack to be nice and just feed eachother politely, but me and my evil ways I couldn't resist the opportunity of stuffing it in his face. I mean really how many times other than that would I be able to do that? Not too many! He got revenge by doing it right back in my face. We sure look cute with icing all over us.. it should be a new fashion!!!
