You won't ever believe what happened... We went to stake conference yesterday with my parents because Jeffrey R. Holland was going to be there and then afterwards we went and got ice cream from coldstone with my parents. While we were sitting outside eating ice cream Elder Holland and his wife and friends pulled up and were coming to coldstone too. I asked if we could get a picture with him and his wife and of course he said yes. He is such a powerful man. He gave a talk on not abandoning Christ. Wow it was amazing. How would it be to be an apostle? It would be like being a celebrity.. but they're up for the task no doubt. Earlier Danielle, Kamicy, and I went to The Bridal Expo to get some ideas for Kamicy's upcoming wedding in May. There was this funnyface photography both that guests could take pictures in when they came to your wedding and then the bride and groom could have pictures of everyone that came. We decided to give it a try.. it was really fun and a great idea.

Justin and I have really been giving some thought to moving away from good old St. George. Not because we don't like it here because we LOVE it here, but because we both think it'll be better if Justin gets his bachelors degree from a University. Dixie was suppose to become University of Utah St. George but who knows when that is going to happen. So we've been discussing moving which is very hard for the both of us. Neither of us has really ever moved away from home (his mission doesn't count) so it's a little scary and we won't be able to see family like we do now. We have so many choices to make. Hopefully we make the right ones.

For the Martin Luther King Holiday Justin and I went up to Zion and hiked the Canyon Overlook. It was beautiful and just the perfect temperature. There was a little bit of snow and ice on the ground but nothing too harmful. I love hiking and we haven't been able to do it since we've been married. Actually the last time we hiked was one of our first dates!! Oh the memories it brings back!!! Hopefully we'll be able to make it to the subway this year..i have heard some pretty marvelous things about it and can't wait to do it!! Woo Hoo!! After we returned from hiking we went to the movie Marley and Me with the parents and Lenny! It's pretty ok.. not my favorite though.
The night before Travis' family left we went to chuck-a-rama which is one of my favorite restaurants!! MMM!!! Lindsey had never been to a buffet in her life and she is in her late twenties. I couldn't believe it! We quickly changed that. She loved it and would recommend going back again.

Justin's entire family minus Sean came down for a late christmas. Travis and his family came from China and Ryan and his family came from California. We went up to Pine Valley and stayed at the Dixie College Cabin. It was so much fun.. we played the wii with a bunch of games, and board games. We won't see Travis and his family for another year and a half :(

Kamille's Birthday was so fun.. we had brownies and ice cream and lots of presents for her! Syd and Macy even got a present too.. A Barbie Christmas movie! YAY! Syd was so happy she fell to the floor with joy. We got Maegan to do her happy face which includes no facial expressions, just her hand to her forehead. ha! She could be bursting out in tears, but if you tell her to put her happy face on she'll stop and up goes her hand to her forehead. She's a doll! While we were having our family party it snowed! I think this year we've had more snow than in my entire life. It's a little cold but still cool to see!
During our little New Years Eve party Justin's cousin's made up this game called "The Clapping Game." This game requires someone to go out of the room and the people inside the room come up with a funny task for that person to accomplish. When the person gets close to the object or thing they're suppose to accomplish everyone starts clapping frantically. It's kinda like hot and cold. By the time they finish their event they are usually cracking up and look hilarious.

I totally forgot how fun tubing is until we went during the Christmas Break! It is a blast... and not that scary! A little bit of a rush but so fun! We tried this chain with four tubes and two people on the back tube... it made us go super fast but everyone held on for dear life and made we ended up doing it again!!!
Christmas was so fun... The entire Brooks family was in town and was a blast. Justin and I had three Christmases... SPOILED!! We got so many sweet gifts. The best part though was playing games and doing fun things with family. After opening presents at the Brooks home we have a tradition to go to IHOP and eat breakfast..MMM!
Delynn went through the temple on the 26th of December. It was a great thing to see! She looked so happy! Most of our family was able to be there and enjoy Delynn's decision. YAY!!!
CHRISTMAS ADAM... This is a tradition from the Sevy family where they sale hot chocolate and give the funds to kids in China so they can go to school. They call it Christmas Adam because it is the day before Christmas Eve and Adam came first. :) It was the best year we've had yet... we almost raised enough for 15 kids to go to school and it cost 25 dollars a person.
We went to a Norwegian Party During the Christmas break with Justin's parents because that is where his dad served his mission. The food was very different and the people were all older but it was still fun.
Justin working on our awesome gingerbread house. The abominable snowman. ha!
