Last weekend was Ryan and Jenny's wedding. Ryan is Justin's brother. The wedding was up in Idaho at Swan Valley. It's quite a ways up there.. nine hours to be exact, but with the Sevy family we got lost and it ended up being twelve. Yup twelve hours in a car. Eventually we did get there and got settled in. The next day we had the rehearsal dinner. The theme was casual elegant cowboy. There was music, lots of people, and it was a ton of fun. The next day we had the actual ceremony. It was beautiful and the after party or reception was magnificent. There was a three course dinner, dancing, toasts, and a blue grass band. What more could you ask for? I felt as if I was at a celebrity wedding. It's amazing what money can buy!! Jenny looked beautiful and they both looked so happy. I'm so happy for them and little Ryden. I almost forgot to mention the famous square ice cream. They have a place in that little town that is known for square ice cream. It was pretty cool to see how they scooped it out. It was yummy, but I couldn't tell a difference from normal ice cream. Here are some pictures of the amazing event and the square ice cream! :)

Justin and I went camping this last weekend with Mom and Dad Brooks and Spencer's family. Since I've known Justin we have never been up to my parents lot to go camping, so it was a first for us and it was sure a fun first. We didn't spend a long time up there, just an overnight trip. It was a lot of fun to have the little girls there and play with them. We rode four wheelers, had tinfoil dinners, smores, scones, the whole works. It was so nice to take a break from school and go out into nature and let all the stresses of life blow away. Here are some scrapbook pages I made of the event... Enjoy!

Yup I'm officially a little good mormon wife.. I can bake from scratch! My mom helped me because I tried a few times and couldn't get my dough to ever raise, but now I'm an expert with my mom's help of course. These cinnamon roles are the best ever... MMM!!! Man am I thankful for moms!!
The Fourth of July was a stinking blast!! We got to play all day and night and didn't have to worry about school for a minute. We started by going to breakfast at the Washington park at seven in the morning... it's a brooks family tradition. After we ate our yummy pancakes, hams, eggs, and orange juice we followed the girls around to play at some booths. The temperature was pretty bearable making it a perfect 4th of July morning!

We all went home and took much needed naps after the very exhausting morning, but then we were ready to have some fun once again. We decided not to go to the sun bowl and fight the huge crowd, instead we went to a place on Dixie College Campus. We got our traditional KFC chicken, root beer, and cornbread. YUMMY!! The fire works were good, except for the tree that happened to block the low ones. Loved it and can't wait until the 24th...
