I know I'm very late on this post, but here it is anyway. Christmas was the best this year. We had three Christmases this year. The first one was at our little apartment in Parker, CO. Justin spoiled me! I got everything I wanted. Here are also some of the stuff we did around Christmas Break. We went on a carriage ride with our friends in the "old" part of Parker. I mean how cool is that? I have always wanted to go on a carriage ride. It was everything I'd dreamed it be and more!!! I think it'll be a new tradition for sure! We made ginger bread houses from scratch with friends and ours turned out SAWEET!! Not to brag or anything. It turned out perfect. A little crazy, but just our style. As soon as Justin was finished with his last final for the semester we headed straight to the airport to get to St. George. We had Christmases with both my parents and his parents. Our parent’s spoiled us way too much. We could barely fit all of our presents in our suitcases. While we were there Justin’s Grandpa Sevy wasn’t doing very well. He had been in the hospital a while and they were expecting him to go at anytime. We were able to make it there before he passed to see him and visit with him. It was such a magical experience to have all of the family (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc) there and sing and talk and enjoy each other’s company. We love and will miss you Grandpa! Christmas Adam Grandpa Sevy's Funeral After the funeral we headed up to the cabin… LOVED THE CABIN!!! I always love to go up there. There isn’t anything much better. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures up there. Just trust me when I say it was awesome!!! From the cabin we headed up to SLC. Kensey was having her baby girl, Bree’s, blessing that Sunday. I loved being up there during New Years Eve. Us girls can get a little beyond crazy and I wouldn’t change it!! Just looking at these pictures makes me laugh. We are weirdo’s for sure!! or Halloween us and our friends decided we wanted to do a Murder Mystery Dinner Party! It was the first time any of us had done anything like that. It turned out to be a blast!!!! Everyone came dressed to perfection and played their parts great! Jenna was the photographer, so we got a ton of pictures to document this amazing night. We played so nobody new who the murderer was until the end and it just so happened to be.... ME!!! Yup, I was a pretty rotten character. A cheater, a liar, and a killer! At least I looked good while doing it right?! :) I can't wait to do another one. Enjoy...

Last night I went to the So You Think You Can Dance live tour with some girls I met through my nanny job. They are so cute and fun. I LOVED it!!! It was a blast. I thought it was amazing on the TV, but in real life it is even better. Melanie is still my absolute favorite! She is such a powerhouse. I definitely want to make this an annual thing. WOOHOO! Thanks girls for such an amazing time.

Last weekend Neesha's little girl, Jaylee Rae Stewart, received a name and a blessing. It was a great get together because all of my siblings were able to come. It's been a really busy time for us lately. Justin has been swamped with his studies and I have been working and keeping up the house. We have still managed to find some "us" time!!! Here are a bunch of pics showing ya what we've been up to. I'll explain as we go. It goes from most recent to least recent. Justin and I have started a little tradition to go get messages at least once a month after a big test of his has been completed. It's been heaven!!!! Here we are in the sauna before our messages. About five minutes from our house we have a Krispy Kreme Factory. MMM!!! After our messages we went and got us some yummy donuts. It's probably a bad thing it's so close. Last week I put together a date night for us. The theme was "A blast from the past". I first gave Justin this poem with MASH at the bottom, so he could have an idea of what we were going to do. Our first destination was to the Roller Skating Rink. It was just as I remember as a kid. Roller skates are harder to maneuver than I remember though. We still had a blast. After roller skating we went to the Moonlight Diner. We had the most delicious black cherry vanilla shake and some greasy food. The last destination was to the drive-in movie. I didn't know these existed anymore, but they do. It was so fun. We sat outside of our car and had Blast from the past treats: creme soda, kettle corn, bottle caps, goobers, and redvines. Perfect! Swimming with Neesha, Devin, and the little guys For our 3 year anniversary we went and got messages, went to a movie, and then ate at the White Chocolate Grill. Ju's parents came out to visit us and while they were here we celebrated Justin's birthday, went to the museum, and had a bunch of fun. Miss them!

White Coat Ceremony. Last Saturday Justin had his White Coat Ceremony for Rocky Vista University. I still can't believe he is starting medical school. I've already begun to see my life turn into a medical student widow. They weren't kidding when they said med students study all the time. Don't get me wrong I have been very supportive and I've actually been able to get a lot of things done that I've wanted to do for a long time like scrapbooking, but it's still hard. At the ceremony they received their white coats. They're only short ones right now, but once they finish school they'll receive their long white coats. Good job Babe!!!

Justin's 25th Birthday!!! Quarter of a century old! Man he's getting up there. For his birthday we started off with some homemade breakfast and then we headed down to Colorado Springs to celebrate with my parents and Neesha's family. We went bowling first and for the first time Justin WON!!!! Someone up above must have known it was his special day, so they helped him out a bit. ha. After a few rounds of bowling we went out to eat at Salsa Brava!!! Best mexican...MMM!! We then headed back to Neesha's house for a party. Thanks Mom and Dad and Neesha and Dev for the awesome presents! For dessert we had Cold Stone Ice Cream Cake!! Not just any ice cream cake... Cake Batter!!!! MM.. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Later that night we hit up Captain America. Loved it and I can't wait for the Avengers to come out! The preview at the end made me so excited!!!! Get ready for a bundle of pictures. It's been a couple of months since I've blogged and you can sure tell by this post. Recently we went on a seven day cruise to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. AMAZING!!! Loved every second of it. The pictures don't do it justice. I'll explain as we go. Before we headed on our cruise we went down to Vegas and stayed a night there at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. We did a lot of shopping and of course we hit up Cheesecake factory. My favorite!! We also stayed in Los Angeles a couple nights before our cruise. Thanks Ryan and Jenny. We headed down to the beach with Ryden and Jenny. Love that little guy! Ryden Can't get enough of this sexy guy! MM!! Speaking of MM... these cupcakes were to die for! In the Strawberry one that Ju has it is filled with Strawberry filling. Best ever! The mint was amazing too. We first signed up for our cruise with the cheapest room possible, and I guess they felt bad for us so they upgraded us to a room with a balcony! We loved it... ate breakfast on it every morning and enjoyed the view. Formal Night... This dessert was so delectable! We had it every night.. hence the weight gain! Warm Melting Cake! Must I say more? Love this pic. This is when were first arriving in Cabo San Lucas right by Lovers Beach and by the famous arch. We had to ride the Mexican Taxi... a guy on his bike pulling us. We had to get the full experience. We went to this Mexican Authentic restaurant. They had the best salsa ever! Ju was loving his burrito a little too much! :) Us at Lovers Beach We were practicing just incase we had to go save someone. Our second formal night, but Ju changed before the pic. While in Cabo we also went parasailing. I was really nervous at first to do it, but then right when we started to go into the air it was so calm and peaceful. It felt like we were just floating. So fun! Isn't that thing enormous?! Another Lovers Beach A couple of times at night on the cruise ship they would show movies on the big screen and give out popcorn. It was awesome sitting in the layout chairs watching movies. Perfect. The next location our cruise went was to Puerto Vallarta. It is totally opposite from Cabo. Cabo is completely dry while Vallarta is moist and green. It was a jungle. We scheduled an Extreme Canopy Adventure there. One word... SPECTACULAR!! Best thing I've ever done outside. We went on about a half hour boat ride, took safari jeeps up the mountain, rode mules up the mountain, zip lined down the mountain, and repelled. It took about six and a half hours. Best experience. This is where we were given our mules. Ju on his mule. The coolest thing about these mules is they are competitive little guys.. Mine was the most competitive of all. His name was Kongora (Kangaroo). He raced up that mountain like a champ. Every time someone would come close to passing he would cut them off and get a moving. ha Us before the zip lining began. So fun. Just gorgeous. He was a pro. After we repelled into the waterfall. Some friends we made while we were there. Ju doing his repel. At the end we raced and Ju wasted me! Oh man! Our origami towels. Of course I took a picture everyday of our housekeepers skills. I loved them, they were so cool. Rewinding now to what we were doing before our cruise. Here we are up in Brian Head for the 4th of July fireworks. They are still way better than St. George. During the day of the 4th of July we went early and had breakfast and then walked around all the booths they had. We also had lunch down there too. They had delicious navajo tacos. MMM!! Kent and Carol came up too! We went boating and Macy and Syd tried to get up on skis for there first time. Macy was a champ! She got up and stayed up!! WOOHOO!!!! Syd almost got up.. she'll do it next time I know it! The Van Leuvan Reunion Ju and I decided to take our bikes out and go up to Giant Steps. Beautiful view. On top of the world! Enjoying the cabin one last time before we moved to Colorado! I already miss it! Tepanyaki... Yum! We went there with Kens, Josh, and Ayd to celebrate Ju graduating! I know this is super late, but here are pics from our Ray Brooks Family Reunion. At the splash pad during the reunion. We also celebrated my dad's 60th birthday! We had an awesome Summer as you can tell! Now we get to go on with our lives to Medical School. Justin started Orientation on Monday and will officially start school on Friday! Good Luck babe! Dance Recital and some old pics. We took another trip to St. George last weekend to enjoy some 90 degree weather. It was so amazing. I so miss that weather so much. All it does up here in the cold country is rain and snow! I need me some permanent sun!!! Anyway I'll jump off my soap box now.. we were able to go watch Macy and Maegan in their dance recitals. They were so adorable. I didn't get any pics of Macy because she had to wait until the very end of the recital to leave and we left after her dance, but she was as cute as ever! The day after Justin's graduation we went to Lagoon! Loved every second of it. It is so fun to watch all of the kids enjoy the rides. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed the rides too.. actually probably a little more ;) After Lagoon we went to Pizza Factory and then played some intense games! The new awesome game is.... Drum roll.... Spot it! It is so fun for any group! Give it a try.

Justin and I have decided to do his medical schooling through the army. We were very skeptical at first, but after a lot of research and a lot of prayers we decided to go for it. He will be doing the HPSP scholarship. We're excited to go through all of school without any dept and stipends to help us out. The downside is he will have to serve as a doctor in the army for four years after he finishes residency. Luckily it is so far away we don't even have to worry about it right now. Phew!!!! He did his army signing last Thursday. He is now a second Lieutenant and when he goes into residency he will be considered a captain. I guess that's pretty good. ha I don't know. We're excited for yet another adventure for our little family!

Justin did it!!!! He graduated from The University of Utah with his bachelor's degree on Friday. He majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Everyone came up to celebrate with us. After the graduation we had a party for Justin. Now we're off to Colorado in July to start a new adventure of Medical School! I can't wait!

Last Weekend I went to St. George with Lee to go to Tayler's bridal shower. We left our boys at home to study for finals and we took a rode trip! We got down there on Friday night and went to Source Code and dinner at Texas Roadhouse with everyone. It was so fun to hangout and laugh with the fam. The next morning all the girlies headed to Vegas for the shower. It was MAGNIFICENT!! The pictuers just don't do it justice. It was breathtaking. I thought we were at the reception for a minute - minus the groom :). I posted a ton of pictures... enjoy.. A random picture of us, but I love it!! Isn't he the cutest?!! On our way to Lee's. Michael Jackson dance on the Wii. We had a great time trying to dance. Trying being the main word in that sentence! Some did better than others. Yup... Justin and I were the worst couple there! ha we rock!!! I don't care if MJ looked white, those moves were straight from his black gene. Too hard for us white folk! Kens doing her Jig! Angels Landing! For Spring Break we headed down to the warm country. We hit up Angels Landing. It was so beautiful. I haven't hiked Angels Landing since high school basketball. The hike doesn't take as long as I remember it. I love just sitting at the top and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. I want to go back already!!! The rest of Spring Break we spent watching March Madness games. I'm not a huge fan of BYU of course because they are our rivals, but I have to admit I've been Jimmered. They've been doing so good in the tourney so far. I hope they win tonight. I've got them beating Florida in my brackets! Spring Break was so good for us. We needed a break from work and school. I only took pics on the hike.. enjoy! The New and Improved Karate Kid! Bob Marley Baby! This squirrel was fearless... it came right up to us and ate off of our fingers. I've never seen one so close! Keys on Main.... So fun! They feature 2 piano players/singers who sit at 2 baby grand pianos facing each other. What they play is entirely up to the audience. You bring up a request accompanied by a tip for the pianists ($5 is usually the minimum standard). The songs are played in order of “how much love (aka tip)” is on them. For example, a $20 song will always be played before a $5 song. The “duel” comes from the audience. If someone doesn't like a particular song they're playing, they can stop the song for $1 more than it was originally requested for, and they'll even play a different song to your liking if preferred. The was an awesome experience. We went with Lee and Mitch and got ourselves some delicious Virgin Pina Coladas!! MMM!!! I definitely want to go back!

State Basketball Baby!!! All growing up we went to state basketball every year because we always had someone playing in it. Since everyone is grown up and out of highschool I haven't been, but my parents and Spence decided to come up this year and cheer on Desert Hills! It was so fun to see them and hang out with everybody. Desert Hills ended up placing 3rd. Great Job! After the games we had to go to The Pie of course! Delicious! Ayd loved getting his fingernails painted..hm Josh wasn't too happy about that! Um... Josh?? 1st attempt.... 2nd attempt... Mom can't keep her eyes open..ha Definitely NOT normal!!!

I know I'm a little late on updating about Valentine's Day, but better late then never right?! As you all know my wedding ring went missing mysteriously a few months ago by he who shall not be named. I was devastated! We looked and looked and never found it. So, we started to look at getting a replacement ring. I thought to myself well since I can get another one, I want it to be a little different. We went to some jewelry stores and tried on a bunch of different rings and lo and behold my favorite one was almost identical to my original wedding ring.. but a little bigger diamond and a little thicker band. :) Justin had told his dad what had happened since we got my first ring through him and asked if we could get another ring through him. (If anyone is looking into getting a ring for someone let me know. Justin's dad can get them for wholesale - way cheaper - and you get to design it yourself!) The next thing I knew it's Valentine's Day and Justin gets down on one knee in our kitchen and pulls out a ring box with this beautiful ring! I was astonished!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much babe! I love it!! There is a great lesson I have learned, Get INSURANCE on your ring! You never know what will happen.

Martin Luther King Weekend.... We went down to the cabin. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that place. It is relaxing but yet always a blast. This was the first time we've been down while there has been snow on the ground. I LOVE the snow!! It is so fun to play in with the snowmobiles! I also love sledding.. we went around and found places to make our own sledding trails. So fun!!! Of course where there is snow there has to be a snowball fight. Spence was asking for it... ha. I went and married a boy that loves boarding. His whole family has been doing it since they were little. Get ready for a very long post with a lot of pics! That's what happens when you visit for 10 days and have two big families!! I love it!! I couldn't ask for anything better! :) For the first part of our trip St. George decided it wanted to rain for forever! We decided to take advantage of it and go mudding on the fourwheelers. I had never been before, so it was a new adventure for me and I absolutely loved it!! SO FUN!! It was sprinkling a little, but not very cold, so perfect for getting very muddy! On Christmas Eve we had our traditional Brooks family nativity play. Syd, Macy, and I were angels, Spence, Josh, and Justin were wise men, Lee and Mitch were Mary and Joseph, don't they make such great parents :), and the rest were bystanders. After our play we all gathered around and sang carols! This is probably one of my most favorite parts of Christmas! I love to hear carols sung by my family!! Of course we had to take pictures of ourselves. ha! We're a little into ourselves. We had to though because we were all in Christmas colors! Candid!! :) Christmas Eve at the Sevy's. We also did a nativity play, but Mayah and Asher were the stars!! We had Christmas Eve dinner and opened our Christmas Pajamas!! Waiting to go up the stairs and see what santa brought us this year. Lee and Mitch got to their stockings early.... Santa brought Josh the cutest present of all.... a Great Dane puppy! He is the best puppy. He didn't even make a peep. But he couldn't hold in the pee... :) Mom and Lenny looking pretty Mitch and Lee with their new Garmin Ayden is so serious in the morning.. Until... he saw what Santa brought him... A Power wheels!! I got Ju a long board thinking I was so creative, but he wasn't as excited as I was! ha. He already took it back, and bought me a snowboard with boots and bindings. Wait a second... that was supposed to be his gift!!! Another one of my all time favorite traditions is to go to IHOP Christmas morning after we open gifts. For some reason the food just tastes so much better on Chrimstas! The twins... Joel and Leif! The Sevy clan Christmas morning. Christmas Dinner at the Brooks house... Don't you just love the table? It's beautiful!! Kens, Josh, and Ayd Lee and Mitch Ju and I Mother Dear! For Christmas Spence and Kamille got these fun hats to go along with Scum. Each chair wears a specific hat that relates to what they are. For instance the king wears the crown. It was so fun! It made the game so much more entertaining. Right before we left we went rock climbing in Snow Canyon with Ju's family. It took us a while to find the right spot, but onced we found the spot it was a lot of fun. And then we made our way home to Salt Lake!!

Festival of Trees!! We went with Lee and Mitch and had a ball. People are so creative! I wish I had a better camera to give the trees and gingerbread houses justice. That's the problem with photography. Once you start and see the amazing quality of a nice camera it's hard to like any pictures off of the little coolpix camera. I absolutely love this time of year! It doesn't get any better than this!! I love this Snowman Tree. It's not only very creative but looks awesome too!!! Very original!!

Merry Christmas!!! I love this time of year. The lights, the weather, the smells, the food, the laughter, and pretty much everything else you could think of. I've been getting ready for Christmas little by little. After Thanksgiving we headed out in the early morning to get some shopping done. Gotta love black friday!!! Everyone joined me too, including DeLynn, Kamille, Justin, and yes even my mom!! :) Spence was off at Sears freezing his buns off waiting for the doors to open there. I almost finished all of my shopping for everyone in one morning!! Sorry no pics of this event. I've been horrible at taking pictures lately. Sorry! I can't wait for two more weeks because that's when we're heading down to St. George for a ten day Christmas VACA!! YAY!! And I promise I'll document every event to keep ya up to date! We had the most delicious halloween finger foods and had a great time playing poker and diss your neighbor! Enjoy the pics... This year Justin was a ROCKER and I was his GUITAR! After Lee's wedding on Saturday we went to VEGAS. So much fun! We stayed at Planet Hollywood! I would recommend it to all. It was gorgeous! We stayed a night and then hit up Blue Man Group. This show was the best!!! Vegas was perfect and so was Lee's wedding. I loved the little vaca. I will post pictures of Lee's wedding once they're finished!! Us in our ponchos.... Bring on the paint!! Justin was so curious! Gotta kiss from the blue man... and a little paint to the face! Indiana Jones - the wax imitation Yup that's the statue of liberty made out of Jelly Beans!!! Last weekend we had Lee's bridal shower! We had a great turn out. We played a lot of games and ate a lot of delicious treats. Lee made out like a bandit with tons and tons of laundry stuff. ha. The weird thing is that Lee didn't get one thing of Lingerie. We sure missed that one. Good thing she has some stashed away from when she worked at victory secret. :) Gotta love this little guy! THE FAIR!!! I absolutely love love love the fair. We had it good, because it was only two blocks away from our house. It was so fun with Justin's family. We also celebrated my birthday on Tuesday. I'm getting up there...22!! AW!! I had the greatest birthday. My wonderful husband made me yummy breakfast, brought Zupas to my work for lunch, then later that night we went to Kensey and Josh's to PARTAY! We played "Minute To Win It." It was hilarious. Since I was the birthday girl I had to do each event. Below are the pics of me trying to accomplish each challenge. I looked a little retarded. ha. Enjoy... 1. Tissue Pulling - The challenge is to pull 160 tissues out of the tissue box with one hand. My arm was burning by the end. I'm weak sauce. Me being very pleased that I conquered the Tissue Challenge. Sexy Hubby! The Game Makers.. Ayden with the microphone. He decided to take over Kensey's role as announcer. 2. Hot Air - The challenge is to blow up the balloon and knock off 15 cups off of the table with the air in the balloon. I did it!! 3. Cookie Monster - The challenge is to start with a cookie on your forhead and move it down into your mouth with your facial muscles. This was HARD! ACCOMPLISHED!!! 4. Stack Attack - While holding the stack of cups take one fromt he top and move it to the bottome until you are back to the first cup. Yes I did pass this one with .1 seconds to spare! Few!! 5. Pyramid – The challenge is to stake 64 cups into a pyramid and take them all down and stack them together before 60 seconds. Luckily Kensey was forgiving on this one :) Junk in the Trunk – The challenge is to get 8 golf balls out of the box by shaking all over. This was too easy. :) Afloat – The challenge is to keep three balloons in the air. I miserably failed this challenge. It’s harder than it sounds!!!!!! After the game we had cake and opened presents. Josh thought I would need a Machete to get through that box. ha. I had a wonderful birthday!! Thanks to everyone for making it so special!! P.S. I just wanted to give a shoutout to my family... They all remembered my birthday and gave me a ring!! You guys are awesome!!!

Over labor Day Weekend we went up to the lake in Morgan and did some boating. It was pretty freezing so we had to pull out the wet suits. We had a blast. Too bad it'll probably be the last time this year! I love love love this one! It looks like Justin is doing that pose on purpose. Look at his hand - classic!! I can't believe two years ago (last Sunday) I was kneeling across the alter with my sweetheart to be sealed forever! Time has flown by since I've known Justin. Everyday is exciting and a new adventure. I love it and I love him!! For our anniversary we went to the melting pot! MMMM...sooo good! We had a four course meal and a lot of yummy fondue cheese, chocolate, and delicious meats. We also are getting a beautiful St. George temple canvas for our house. It's on its way. Last weekend we also hung out with Kens, Josh, and Lee. We went to Outback Steakhouse and then had fun that night. My mom and Dad also came up which was so good to see them!! Enjoy the pictures..

Get ready for a very very long post with a lot of pictures. We have been pretty busy lately. A good busy of course. We've been going to concerts, St. George, and the cabin. We have gone to two concerts in the past two weeks. I decided to surprise Justin with 311 tickets for his birthday and he also decided to surprise me with Tim McGraw/ Lady Antebellum tickets for fun. We had a blast at both!! Lee and Mitch came with us to the 311 concert. The two concerts had completely different atmospheres, but were both awesome. My girl friends and I went to my family's cabin a while back and I didn't get any pictures except for one of Miss Avory and lil Ayden smoochin!! It was so darling! They played and laughed with eachother the whole time. I think they liked the company of another person their size. To start the 24th of July out right the Sevy family all decided to run a 5k. I was very hesitant because I hadn't run in about a month, but I decided to give it a whirl anyway. Justin ran with me the whole time and we finished in ok time. It was fun to do it with the whole fam. Later on the 24th we headed to Tuachan for the Sevy band to take the stage. They did a really great job, but it was hard to sit there in the scolding heat for two hours. It was good to see the whole crew back together again! Later that night we hit up Fiesta Fun. We did a round of bumper boats and everyone was ruthless with the water. A few unlucky ones came out of there soaked. After Fiesta Fun we went home and did sparklers. I love those things! On Thursday we took out Grandpa Sevy's boat to Sand Hallow. We stayed from 10am-10pm. I got fried and am still peeling! It was a blast to relax all day out in the beautiful St. George sun!! We started the day off with Justin, Dad Sevy, and myself and ended with the entire Sevy extended family. Gotta love the CV's, so unpredictable. :) Since it was Justin's birthday the day we traveled down to St. George we celebrated it with both my fam and Justin's fam. He made out like a bandit. This post is a little late, but i've been quite busy. For the fourth of July we went down to Brian Head to play at the cabin. And boy did we play hard!! We not only saw one firework show but two! For my job at the University of Utah I am in charge of updating and changing our department website. In order to do that I have been taking CSS and Photoshop classes. I love that my work is paying for me to take these classes because it not only benefits me at work but also in my personal life. I love taking pictures and messing with them. Justin and I went down to St. George for the second weekend in a row. He was asked to play at his cousin's, Channing Sevy, wedding. It was also the Matheson reunion. We hit two birds with one stone. The weekend was hectic with so many events going on, but we managed to make it through while having a good time. We went to the sealing, the breakfast, swimming, shopping, the reception, the baby blessing, and back to my parent's house for some Father's Day fun!! I want to give a shout out to my awesome Father and Father-in-law. They are both the best men! They are such great examples to our families. Thanks for all you do!!! I want to also mention the love of my life... JuStin! He is not yet a father and probably won't be for another few years, like 5, but he will be one of the best. He loves kids and they love him (minus Ayden ha). I can't wait for that day to come! Until then, he is and will continue to be the amazing husband I know and love!!

Once again it has come and now it has past... The Ray Brooks Family Reunion. This year we did our reunion in St.George/Brian Head at our cabin. My parents just bought this cabin and might I say I LOVE IT!!!! It is the perfect size and so cute!! Everybody traveled down to St. George on Thursday and got settled in. Then on Friday we were going to go boating at the lake, but the wind was so intense that the waves had white caps. We decided it was best to not go and head over to the Washington pool. Little did we know it didn't open until 12:30pm. We changed plans once again and headed up to the cabin a little earlier. I don't think we could have planned it any better, it was the perfect amount of time to get unpacked and into the cabin before it started to rain. While at the cabin we ate great, played lots of games, and got some four wheelin in. It was so fun to be with family and relax. Enjoy the many many pictures!! Oh P.S. that awesome bike we got for Justin in the last post has been stolen. He locked it up when he went to work and when he came out to go home it was missing!! It's pretty sad that you can't even go a couple of weeks without your bike getting stolen. There are some pretty messed up people here that would do that. Oh well, life goes on.

Last weekend we went up to Morgan to go camping!! Yup it's true.. it was actually warm enough to go camping up here and not freeze. I thought it would never happen, but to my relief it has!! We went with Josh and Kens and left little Ayden with Blinni (Josh's mom). Justin and I also decided it is time to go green! We like to follow the fad, so we went and bought ourselves some bikes. I only have a picture of justin's because I'm too lazy to take a picture of mine and upload it. ha. Mine is just like his but black and red. We use them all of the time and have tried to substitute biking for driving when we can. Now we just need to learn to recycle. Baby steps at a time right?!

This last weekend everyone decided to go down to St. George for a late Mothers Day. The weekend was SOOOOO much fun!! We always have a way good time when we go down to St. George though. No surprise!! We got down there on Friday and hit up Robin Hood with Dani. I recommend it to all. The story is telling more how Robin Hood became an outlaw. It's great! The next morning we went to Red Cliffs with Justin's family. The water levels were so high. We cliff jumped and froze our butts off. Every time we hit the water our breath was taken away. Sounds crazy, but it was a blast. Later that day we went with my fam to my dad's school to play some sand volleyball and basketball. My team dominated!!! Go us!!!! ha. That night we played Mafia for almost four hours! Sunday we went to church had a barbecue and played a few more games then headed home. Being with family is the best!! The weather was amazing and I can't wait to go down again! Until next time....

This weekend we hung out with Kens and Josh the entire time. We went to Iron Man 2 and then slept over at there house. The next day we played some bball at the church and then went up to Josh's parents house for some yummy dinner and playing on the rope swing. I'm a wuss, so it took me forever to jump off. I finally did and my foot slipped through the loop and I was hanging on for dear life. I made it to the ground safely, but was still freaking out a little. I started to tear up! Yup... I'm a big wuss! I did it again to prove I could do it and I DID!!! YAY mission accomplished!!!!!

Justin is officially finished with finals.. well at least for this semester. He worked so hard and did so well! Great job babe! I wish we could do something crazy and fun like go to Florida, but for now we'll just be hitting up Iron Man 2 on Friday and probably going to Cheesecake Factory or something. I love that place. For Kensey's 23rd birthday I decided we should take Kensey out to breakfast like the good old days in high school. We decided we would take her out on the same day as her surprise party which was on Saturday. We drug our butts out of bed at 6:30am and went and picked her up. Her birthday had already passed, so she wasn't expecting it at all. We went to IHOP and it was delicious!!! Ayden was loving every second. Thanks for being a good sport Kens!!

I just wanted to let everyone know of our horrible luck we have. When we were coming home from Kensey and Josh's one day last week we hit a unknown object on the freeway. The only thing we can think that would cause this damage was a nasty rock. We heard a horrible sound and pulled over. We got out of the car and found this horrbile damage to the passanger door and heard air gushing out of our tire. We put on the spare and got our tire fixed, hopefully the insurance will replace our door without a tremendous expense.

This weekend was so much fun... Probably one of the best we've had in a while. We started off the weekend early by going to Zupas with Justin's sister and mom. They came up for a conference thing and were nice enough to come up here and take us to dinner. On Friday night we went to a free U concert out on the Union Lawn on campus. Spencer called us up and let us know a sweet band was going to be playing called Rogue Wave. They were amazing. The other bands that played were sweet too. It was awesome to just be able to chill on the lawn and listen to all different style of music and jam out. We also went to dinner with Lee and Mitch to Texas Roadhouse.. MM.. one of my favorites. It was a blast and the food was perfect! Except they ran out of croutons for the salads. I got over it quickly though. Then we went snowboarding. It was basically my first time. I LOVED it!! Justin was such a great teacher. We went to Snowbird. The weather was perfect. I even got to the point where I took off my jacket. I started on the blue square route and by the end of the day I made it to a black diamond!! That's suppose to be the really hard ones I guess..ha! I wish the season wasn't almost over so we could go again. I'm guessing I'll have some major bruising on my butt and knees, but it was well worth it. The best part about the whole thing was the tickets were free. Justin's boss hooked us up with free passes! I can't wait until we can go again and I can get GOOD!!

The weekend before this we had my wonderful mother up and went and watched Kensey run the SLC 1/2 Marathon. She did so well. I can't believe she accomplished that. I can barely run one mile. Great job! That night we celebrated Kensey's and Ayden's birthdays! Ayden got the cutest clothes and toys. He was soooo spoiled. I love that kid. The weekend turned out to be so fun with mom up here and I can't wait to go down to St. George in May!!!

For Valentine's day we went to Primrose Place Spa. It was AMAZING!!! First of all we had a bath soak, then we had an hour massage, then a dinner to finish it off. During the treatment we were treated with chocolates and sparkling cider. Wow I wish we could do this more often. It was the best Valentines ever!! Lee works at this spa and asked if we could get pictures taken of us, so we said, "sure." Now we have memories of the amazing spa day! hello

Justin has always been saying that he could out eat me. I knew he never could, but I didn't want to challenge him because I didn't want to eat 2,000 calories in one sitting. Finally yesterday I decided to just lay it all out and do it. We ordered two pizzas from little caesars, one for me and one for him, and went to town. We sat down at the table and decided when you left the table you were finished. Of course I eat a lot slower than Justin, so I was on my second piece when he had already finished half of his. He ate all but one piece and was done. He couldn't eat anymore! I kept going being persistant. I now knew my goal was to finish just one more bite than him. I chugged along until that very last bite! Yup that's right I beat him and now have bragging rights forever! :) Before.... During... a felt like I was going to barf! Justin thinking that he is going to win, until I slaughtered his dream!

This Christmas was so much fun! Justin and I went down to St. George to enjoy it with both of our families. We did so many things..caroling, our IHOP tradition on Christmas morning for breakfast, a few Christmas dinners, games, presents, Christmas Adam (which is selling hot chocolate the day before Christmas Eve and then we give the profits to a charity.), snowboarding, etc. It was a very eventful Christmas!! I love my family and Justin's family so much!! I'm so glad they love us too and we can make many memories together! Sorry I didn't get many pictures.. I was too busy having fun! For New Years we went with Kensey and Josh to Kai and Kimberly's house. We played viscious games and had yummy food!! We kicked off the New year having a great time. Sorry no pictures of that either! Epic Fail I know!! Justin and his little bro Sean Mel, Sean, and Ju. Brr.. It sure looks cold! Ryan, Mel, and Jenny. Notice everyone is there but me! I was dying in bed from a migraine! Thanksgiving was such a blast this year. Most everyone got to the parents house on Wednesday night. We mostly talked and caught up with everyone. We did go to Chuck-a-Rama for dinner to stretch our stomachs a little for Thanksgiving the next day. It was delicious! On Thursday we all chipped in to help make the feast. There was pies, stuffing, ham, jello, salads, rolls, fudge, turkey, etc! Before we dug in, we went around the table and said what we were thankful for. I'm thankful for all the blessings in my life especially my wonderful husband! He is truly the light in my life! I couldn't ask for any better. Needless to say nobody left the table hungry! A little while after our dinner had settled we headed to Dad's school to play a vicious game of basketball to work off some pounds! My team won both times!! GO TEAM!!!

The next day we went to the mountains to get Christmas Trees! I love this part of Thanksgiving because it makes Christmas that much more closer!! YAY!!! We found our four Christmas Trees then headed home, but took a stop at the traditional Lynn's to get Donuts! MM... a donut always hits the spot after tree hunting! We got home ate some pizza then got ready for New Moon the movie. Everyone went even the guys. I don't know if that was a good thing because they just made fun of it, but who cares. I thought it was ok, but I still think the choice of actors was bad. They need a new Bella and Edward. It's pretty sad when Jacob is better looking than Edward. Anyway enough of my soap box. Thanksgiving was so fun and I can't wait for Christmas! P.S. We didn't get to see Justin's family because they were in China to visit his diplomat brother. Miss them!!

Congrats to Josey and Eric Adams!! They tied the knot! This last weekend Justin and I went to St. George for the second weekend in a row for Josey's wedding. We went to a dinner on Friday, her reception on Saturday, and then her baby (Avory) got blessed on Sunday. It was a weekend full of fun events and a lot of laughter. On Friday after the dinner all the girls got together and went on a scavenger hunt for Josey's bridal shower. It was so fun and good to just hang out with the girls for a bit. Josey looked beautiful and everything turned out perfect!

The language is pretty interesting, but at least he can speak two languages now. It's actually the first time I've met him since I've known Justin. BED AND BREAKFAST.... Justin my wonderful adorable husband surprised me on Friday with a delightful stay at the bed and breakfast called "Inn on the Hill." On Thursday he told me not to plan anything for Friday night because he had something planned... I was so anxious to find out what it was, but Justin was strong and didn't let anything slip. After school and work on Friday he captured me and we started the night off with a little Rio. MM.. one of my favorites, then we checked in to our Bed and Breakfast stay. The little lady at the front desk showed us to our room and a little tour of the place. I loved the fact that it wasn't like a hotel... they had complimentary movies, drinks, food, etc. It felt so comfortable. After we checked in we signed up for when we would be dining in for breakfast, it wasn't your traditional hotel breakfast it was exquisite. The dining room was set up with fine dinnerware and someone to serve us. We had an omelet(strata) with toast, grapes, orange juice, melon, and muffins! We definitely had plenty to eat! Anyway back to the night... Justin had made a romantic CD for me of memorable songs we had together, so when we were in our room with our fire and bubble bath it was playing. The mood was perfect!!!! Wow the night was just breathtaking! Relaxation, laughing, and just being with my hubby!!! What more could I ask for?! P.S. I was captured so I didn't have my camera, so I stole pictures from there site! he!

WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE... That's right we went to the U game on Saturday to start off the Halloween celebration. It was my first game finally! We went with Lee and Mitch and of course we beat Wyoming! :) It was perfect weather for a perfect game. After the game we went up to Kensey and Josh's for some Halloween fun. We all dressed up and had delicious chili and chips! Thanks Kens! After we ate we all gathered around for some serious poker. I say 'serious' because we actually played with real money. Everyone brought five dollars and put it in the pot. The winner ended up with fifty dollars and the winner just happened to be me :) Beginners luck I guess... It should have been Darin but he basically gave up and handed it to me. Probably because it was one thiry in the morning. It ended up being another memorable Halloween!! :) P.S. These costumes aren't our real costumes we planned.. I will post them when I get the pictures from Kensey. Stayed tuned because they're freakin awesome. Lee is Mitch's Twin... they really kinda look alike. Wierd!

Happy Birthday Mom!!! It was last Saturday and her, dad, Spencer, Kamille, the girls, and Lenny all came up to celebrate. We surprised both Kamille and Mom with a spa day. Well it wasn't really a surprise.. I think pretty much everyone spoiled it. ha. They went to the spa while Kens, Lenny, and I tended the little girls and all the boys went to the U of U game. It was such a fun day. When everyone met up at the end of the night we all went to Texas Road House. So yummy! I love when all of our family gets together it's so fun, but we did miss Neesha and Devin's family. The beautiful Birthday Girl even without makeup after her spa day! Sadie's awesome hairstyle, I can see her in the future in magazines!! We can pull some pretty funny faces... look above! Go UTES!!! We definitely have school pride! Well at least the boys do... Justin, Josh, and Mitch went to the University of Utah game, while us ladies went to the General Relief Society Broadcast. We're so righteous! :) After the events both ended we all met back up at our house and ordered some pizza and had the yummiest dessert..if I do say so myself because I made it. It's called Mint Heaven! MMM. My new favorite concoction. Kensey also made me the best looking "21 Rice Crispy Cake" I've ever seen. I swear I've had four birthday parties. I'm so spoiled, but I love it! :) It sure is a good time to have a blast on the weekend to get rid of some major stresses of school. YAY for weekends!!!!!

Last weekend we had poker night!!! Kensey, Josh, Lee, and Mitch came up to party with the us! It was so much fun. We made dinner for everyone called "Tagene". It is a type of Greek or Mediterranean food or something like that. It was different that's all I know ha. After we all finished eating lee popped in the brownies that Kensey made into the oven, so we could have yummy treats while getting serious in 21 and poker. We started with a little 21... My favorite. We're practicing to go to Wendover..everybody has got to gamble at least once right?! We were planning to go this next weekend because I just turned 21! YUP the huge 2-1!!! I'm so old. Now I'm legal.. I better take advantage of it! ha or not.... anyway, we need a little more practice before we hit the big tables so we're going to postpone it for a little while. When we were playing our games Kensey made Josh get a hair cut because he was starting to look a little like a mop (Not really :)), that's why Josh has his shirt off in most of the pictures. At least that's what he said, I think he was just trying to show off his muscles. THe weekend was great! It's fun to be up here with some sisters!

I didn't get a chance to give a good tribute to our one year anniversary on August 8th (08.08.08). It has been the best year of my life. Time just seems to fly by when your having a blast. Justin is the most perfect husband in the world... and handsome might I add. He is also my best friend. He is always there for me making me smile. I love you babe!
