Thanksgiving was such a blast this year. Most everyone got to the parents house on Wednesday night. We mostly talked and caught up with everyone. We did go to Chuck-a-Rama for dinner to stretch our stomachs a little for Thanksgiving the next day. It was delicious! On Thursday we all chipped in to help make the feast. There was pies, stuffing, ham, jello, salads, rolls, fudge, turkey, etc! Before we dug in, we went around the table and said what we were thankful for. I'm thankful for all the blessings in my life especially my wonderful husband! He is truly the light in my life! I couldn't ask for any better. Needless to say nobody left the table hungry! A little while after our dinner had settled we headed to Dad's school to play a vicious game of basketball to work off some pounds! My team won both times!! GO TEAM!!!
The next day we went to the mountains to get Christmas Trees! I love this part of Thanksgiving because it makes Christmas that much more closer!! YAY!!! We found our four Christmas Trees then headed home, but took a stop at the traditional Lynn's to get Donuts! MM... a donut always hits the spot after tree hunting! We got home ate some pizza then got ready for New Moon the movie. Everyone went even the guys. I don't know if that was a good thing because they just made fun of it, but who cares. I thought it was ok, but I still think the choice of actors was bad. They need a new Bella and Edward. It's pretty sad when Jacob is better looking than Edward. Anyway enough of my soap box. Thanksgiving was so fun and I can't wait for Christmas! P.S. We didn't get to see Justin's family because they were in China to visit his diplomat brother. Miss them!!
